Harlem Business Alliance (HBA) is gearing up for its 36th Annual Awards Celebration which, this year, takes on the enormous task of recognizing the accomplishments of Black women, and all they’ve contributed to the community and the world at large.
“Growing up surrounded by strong intelligent Black Women – running thriving businesses and organizations throughout Harlem – Black Girl Magic was always the rule. Not the exception,” says Regina Smith, HBA’s Executive Director. It is this sentiment that fuels the event, which acknowledges the historical and contemporary achievements of Black women, in the face of incredible obstacles. The Gala takes place on May 3, 2017 at MIST Harlem and promises to be as festive and exciting as it is inspiring. Find tickets and more event information HERE.
Since its founding in 1980, the Harlem Business Alliance has been a force of advocacy for the development and empowerment of Harlem’s small business community.
